We carry out a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. We aim to provide dental services to help you smile and to the highest level of satisfaction.
Examinations
Routine examinations to check your entire mouth (teeth, gums, lips, jaw joints etc.). Making sure there are no signs of mouth cancer and diagnosing cavities and periodontal disease if present. We take routine digital x-rays to check parts of the mouth which are not visible without. Making sure we leave no area unchecked.
Hygienist
Healthy gums are essential for ensuring a happy and healthy smile.
Inflammation of the gums or the tissue that holds the teeth in place - so-called periodontitis - can damage your ability to bite and even lead to tooth loss. To help try and make sure this doesn't happen we have a hygienist. The hygienist can treat any inflammation of your teeth's supporting tissues and give expert oral hygiene advice to help keep your mouth clean and fresh.
Restorations
The practice uses high quality dental filling materials to carry out both silver and white fillings.
Crowns and bridges can be made to help protect the remaining structure of the teeth or to replace missing teeth.
Denture/False teeth
Full or part dentures can be made to replace several missing teeth to help with chewing. They can be made in acrylic or a metal base with acrylic teeth and gums.
Clear Braces
We are able to offer clear aligner braces for those patients wishing to have straighter teeth but who are looking for a more aesthetic solution.

Fixed Braces
Fixed orthodontic treatment. Using the American Damon System we can straighten the teeth and correct crowded teeth using train track braces for both children and adults. It's never too late to have the smile you always wanted
Tooth Whitening
Many patients wish for whiter looking teeth to make them look younger and give them more confidence to smile,
We can provide professional high quality tooth whitening products and whitening trays so you can whiten the colour of your teeth in the comfort of your own home.
Facial Aesthetics
We are now able to offer treatment not only to your smile but also to your face. If you have ever wanted to get rid of those wrinkles or plump up those sagging bits of skin. Why not try Botox or Dermal fillers in the comfort of the dental office by people who know what they are doing.?
Online Appointment Booking
The online booking system is currently not in use due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Todays Dental Care is trying to keep up with the busy life of our patients. So, we have decided to offer an online booking service. You are able to book a "recall (routine) examination" and a "hygienist" appointment using the new system. The system can even add the appointment to your diary. We are very excited about this new service and ask that you bear with us if we encounter any teething problems whist we all get to grips with the new system. You can, of course, still contact the practice to book your appointment in person. Our reception team are happy to chat to you and book your appointment face to face if you prefer.
We currently treat patients on a fee per item basis (private), offer dental plans for patients wishing to budget for dental treatment by paying monthly (using DPAS) and hold and NHS contract for the treatment of those patients who are under 18years of age or who hold exemption from NHS charges. We are currently not able to register any new NHS patients due to contract restrictions.
Reminders
If you have provided us with your mobile number or email address we will remind you when your routine appointment is due and 24 hours before a booked appointment so you don't miss seeing us.
Payments
The practice accepts payments by cash, cheque or debit/credit card (except American Express)
Membership scheme
We provide tailor made membership schemes to suit your need and budget. Ideal for those wishing to spread the cost of dental care on a monthly basis.
